Rosé Strawberry Sangria
Take your traditional red wine Sangria to the next level with our Petal Press Rosé! You can make this recipe as simple or as complicated as you like (feel free to skip the strawberry syrup and orange liqueur if you’re on a time crunch, or go all out with all the ingredients!)
Ingredients:
- 3 cups sliced strawberries
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 orange, halved and sliced
- Juice of 1 orange
- ¼ cup orange liqueur (optional)
- 1 bottle rosé, sparkling rosé, or white wine
- Strawberry syrup to taste (2 cups sliced strawberries, ½ cup granulated sugar, ½ cup water)
How-to:
For the strawberry syrup, add strawberry syrup to taste. Place the strawberries, ½ cup sugar, and ½ cup water in a saucepan set over medium heat. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened and juicy. Set a fine mesh strainer over a bowl and pour the strawberry mixture through the strainer. Use the back of a spoon to press the strawberries against the strainer, extracting as much juice/syrup as possible. Chill the syrup.
Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and stir. Chill and let sit for several hours. Serve over ice.
Tangerine Red Wine Spritzer
This tangerine spritzer is one of our new unexpected favorites. Our Lammas Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon is a perfect companion for this orange-y cocktail, plus the maple syrup offers the perfect amount of subtle sweetener. If you’re unable to track down tangerine juice, orange juice works great as well!
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Lammas Cellar red wine
- 1 oz tangerine or orange juice
- 1/2 oz maple syrup
- 3 oz soda water
- Rosemary sprig to garnish
- Tangerine or orange wheel to garnish
How-to:
Add all ingredients except soda water to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 15 seconds, until frothy and well chilled. Strain into a glass and top with soda water. Garnish with a tangerine or orange wheel and a sprig of rosemary.
Lemon Ginger White Wine Cocktail
If you’re looking for a refreshing cocktail to sip on this summer, look no further. The slight spice of the ginger simple syrup coupled with the fresh lemon citrus and zip of Pisco makes this lemon ginger cocktail *chefs kiss*.
We selected our Allonym dry white from Spain to keep up with the Pisco - a brandy developed by 16th century Spanish settlers and produced in Peru and Chile.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Allonym white wine
- 1 ¼ oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 oz Pisco
- 1 oz ginger simple syrup (1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, 2 tbsp chopped ginger)
How-to:
For the ginger simple syrup, bring sugar and water to a boil for a few minutes, then add in the ginger. Continue to simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and let the ginger infuse in the syrup for 20 minutes. Strain the simple syrup through a sieve and into a bottle to save!
Add all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 20 seconds. Strain over a glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lemon wedge or candied ginger.
White Wine Mojito
Go green with this twist on a classic mojito! Ditch the rum and trade it out for our Watchkeeper dry white wine.
Ingredients:
- 2 lime wedges
- 6 fresh mint leaves
- 1 teaspoon agave
- 1/2 cup chilled Watchkeeper dry white wine
- 1/4 cup chilled club soda
- Ice
How-to:
Combine the lime, mint, and agave in a glass and muddle gently with a spoon. Add wine, club soda, and ice and stir.
Blue Mimosa
This is by far the simplest recipe in our book, but boy, does the blue look beautiful. For this blue Mimosa, you’ll need blue Curaçao (an orange flavored liquor) and our crowd favorite sparkling wine - Stigma.
Ingredients:
- 1 fl oz Blue Curaçao
- 5 fl oz Stigma sparkling wine
How-to:
Add blue curaçao to a Champagne flute. Top with chilled Stigma sparkling wine. Garnish with an orange slice.
