If you've never sniffed, sipped, and savored your wine in a professional wine tasting setting, you're definitely missing out on one of the rich wonders of the wine world. We asked our Bright Cellars’ community, “have you ever done a professional wine tasting?” and here are the results.
- 47.2% of respondents said ”Yes, and I learned so much!”
- 39.3% of respondents said ”No, but it’s on my list.”
We also asked our Bright Cellars Instagram community and got more specific responses:
- Yes! It was one of my favorite events.
- Yes, while I was in Napa Valley
- No! Not yet, but I would love to try Bright Cellars wine!
- Yes, love them!
We love hearing that over half of you have attended a wine tasting (or maybe experienced a virtual wine tasting) in the past. For those of you who haven’t yet checked wine tasting off your bucket (or should we say bottle) list, this summer is the perfect time to prioritize a professional wine tasting.
Oh, and we should mention, don't feel like you have to plan a trip to Cali to get in a good tasting. There are plenty of local wineries that would love to help you hone your palate!
Why Are Wine Tastings Important?
Did you know wine tasting stimulates your brain more than solving a complex math problem? We’re shocked too. This means that while wine tastings are a great way to socialize and hang out with friends, they are also proven to make you smarter.
Start out small with Bright Cellars
Bright Cellars sends you educational wine tasting cards in every box, so you can learn the basics and graduate to more complex wine knowledge. Each card tells you about the wine’s origin, flavor notes, and suggested serving temperatures. Like a mini wine tasting, led by the experts at Bright Cellars.
