World Line Malbec
Our World Line Malbec is a medium-to-heavy bodied red with a complex flavor profile. You’ll immediately notice ripe fruit flavors like cherry, plum, and black raspberry. You’ll also observe subtle hints of earth, all woven together with a spicy finish.
This trifecta of ripe fruit, earth, and spice will surely expand your horizons and take you beyond your traditional Malbec.
Lodi
Tucked away between the San Francisco Bay and the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Lodi is a dreamy wine region in the Golden State. It’s smack dab in the middle of California’s central valley, with more than 100,000 acres of vineyards ready to be explored.
It’s no surprise Lodi wines are known for their smoky yet aromatic red wines - our World Line Malbec is no exception. The fruit-forward bold wines from this area provide a complex tasting experience, exciting different parts of your palate as you sip.
Characteristics of this region include warm climate, sandy soil, and old vines. Lodi’s climate is hot throughout both the day and night, with no signs of cooling down. It’s also known for sandy soil - a growing environment that increases wine’s aromatics. Lodi is also home to some of the oldest vineyards in California. From what we know, the first wine grapes in this region were planted back in 1850 during the Gold Rush by a man named Capt. Charles Weber. He may not have ‘struck gold’ in the traditional sense, but we think he did.
Pairing World Line Malbec
When it comes to the perfect food pairing, we suggest you pair our World Line Malbec with something equally other worldly. Lamb or duck are excellent choices. You could also pair this delicious Malbec with a stacked burger overflowing with toppings. Think cheese, caramelized onions - even a fried egg.
